the SC-AQUA MARINEX ARAMID MIKRO14 microphone cable from Sommer cable remains watertight thanks to its special waterblocking tape and can be permanently laid at a water depth of up to 20 m. Thus it can be used for a large range of applications, from installation in amusement parks, sports arenas and wildlife parks to utilization in OB vans, near the coast or in boat building.
Its precisely fitting 6.2 mm cable diameter ensures that the cable fits perfectly with the strain relief of the manufacturer’s HI-MARLIN connectors (art. HI-X3CM-HD-B & HI-X3CF-HD-B) and, when combined, guarantees dependable waterproofness in accordance with IP67. At the same time, the cable is particularly easy to work with and does not require any complicated maneuvers – even with standard XLR connectors. The outer jacket is resistant to salt water, fresh water, UV radiation and microbes, making the cable ideal for long-term outdoor use.
