Thanks to its extremely small outer diameter of just 6 mm and a tight bending radius of less than 20 mm, the new SC-MERCATOR CAT.6a highflex patch cable fits easily into narrow patch panels, data cabinets or touring racks. Despite this compact design, the robust PVC jacket material, combined with an S/FTP construction of a braided shield and an AL/PT foil shielding for each pair, ensures a reliable shielding of all wire pairs and ensures a bandwidth of up to 500 MHz according to the Cat.6a standard.
Equipped with ultra-compact 25-mm RJ45 connectors and a transparent 50-mm heat-shrink tubing for individual labeling, the cable also features practical details for professional use. The optional retrofit with the well-known NEUTRIK etherCON cable connector guard (NE8MX/NE8MX-B) further increases robustness and service life in mobile applications.

The Cat.6a S/FTP HIGHFLEX patch cable is available in various lengths and perfectly complements Sommer cable’s existing network product line by offering a flexible, high-performance connection solution for Gigabit and 10-Gigabit environments. It is complemented by a version with an exceptionally durable PUR jacket (art no. C6AP). It is available by the meter or as a premade cable. Free samples available upon request.
