The CAT.8.2 cable (art. no. 580-0828FC) offers maximum safety due to its halogen-free, LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket. It meets the strict requirements of CPR fire protection class B2ca (difficult to ignite, low heat release) and complies with the IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60754-1/2 standards.
Its double shielding – consisting of individually shielded wire pairs (PimF) and an overall copper braiding – ensures an interference-free transmission even in challenging environments. Whether Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+/PoE++) with up to 100 watts, VoIP or data transmissions: the SC-Mercator guarantees maximum reliability.
