The stainless steel micro atomizer …
for corrosive strains, ideal e.g. for applications in the automotive industry.
The tiny ZWERG atomizer from Sommer-Technik will find a discreet place even in the smallest nook – and yet it’s one of the greatest when it comes to the economic atomization of thin oils and fluids. Also suitable for the subsequent integration of an oiling unit.
The fine adjustment of the spray quantity is done with a set screw on the atomizer head while the air supply for the Venturi nozzle is regulated via the supplied throttle valve at the end of the pneumatic hose. When compressed air is applied, atomization will take place immediately. A built-in check valve [vertical installation position] in the hose prevents the liquid from sinking too quickly. The ZWERG should always be installed slightly above the max. liquid level in the unpressurized container connected via the fluid hose to prevent the medium from dripping. If necessary, the atomizer can also be installed below the liquid level with the help of a 2/2-way valve in the fluid line.
The ZWERG-ES atomizer is made of stainless steel (AISI 303) and can be used at 20 °C within a viscosity range of 1 – 480 mm2/s. The operating pressure lies between 3 and 8 bar, whereby the spray mist becomes finer with increasing pressure. The operating temperature is specified at –25 °C to +80 °C, the spray angle is 30°. A max. fluid quantity of 36 ml/minute can be sprayed with a max. cycle frequency of 60/min. at an air consumption of 0 to 18 l norm./min.
The atomizer is also available in a technically identical ZWERG standard version made of nickel-plated brass.
